I opened the box, unit looks clean, solid and packaged well.Plugged its bigger USB plug into a trusty Surface Pro 4.Windows 10 chimes to say it found the drive.Insert a blue-ray discMakeMKV starts cranking at 8.6 M/sit just worksthe end

Just burned a couple Bluray Drives Winx author using this drive. About as thin as the drive from a laptop, only issue is the cord length. Very please with it

I bought this drive so I could backup my disk collection. Got it home and plugged it in with no problems. My Win11 laptop recogized it immediately. I used only the USB 3.0 end of the power cord, and plugged it into my USB 3.0 Hub. There were no power problems.Please note that you need to have blu-ray player software on your computer to play your disks. If you are going to rip blu-ray disks, you need additional software. I use MakeMkv. It's free, but do yourself a favor and register it. The drive works great and I would highly recommend it.
