I absolutely love this product, because now I finally have something that allows my cats to experience the outdoors without having to worry about them affecting the other wildlife in my backyard or getting harassed by my ducks. They really seem to enjoy it, too!We started out by putting it in the house. Assembly was extremely easy and fast, as all we had to do was remove it from the protective sack, extend everything, then pull on the cord at the top until everything clicked into place. There were also a few additional rods to add support to the second level and an optional sun shade that we secured into place; the whole process took like two minutes without looking at any instructions. The build quality is really nice, as the frame uses sturdy metal, and we've had no problems with the mesh ripping or tearing with our cats' claws. After we set it up in the house, it did not take long for the cats to get curious and start exploring, and within a day, they were running through it and lounging on the second level in complete comfort. Once they were used to it, we moved it outside and carried them out to it. They were a little skittish at first, but they very quickly adjusted, and now they beg for outside time!The size is quite nice for our two full-grown cats. They have room to pace and move about, which is really all you need for brief visits to the backyard. We typically bring them out whenever we need to do some yard work. The weight is shockingly light for how sturdy it feels, which is definitely appreciated.My only word of warning is to make sure that your cat has had some kind of flea treatment, as while I'm pretty sure that the holes in the mesh are too small to allow ticks or larger insects in, you're going to be hard-pressed to have something small enough to completely dissuade fleas.All in all, I'd say this is a good valued product that functions as advertised. Considering how much use I think we're going to get out of it, that completely justifies the price. We've been using it for weeks now, and there doesn't seem to be much wear and tear at all.

I have 5 indoor cats, and a couple of them really want to go outside. This Catio is a perfect solution!My oldest cat absolutely loves it, and will beg at the door when the weather is nice. The setup is super simple, and it pops up after a tug on the string. The tent poles are sturdy and durable. There are visual markers on both the tent and the pole so you know where to put each one, although the 2 of the sides are the same.The pop up tent also include a shade for over the top to offer shade on sunny days. My cats appreciate the "loft" that inside the tent and love to chill on it.This tent is large! Too tall and wide to fit through a door way, so you will need to take it down and put it together again each time. This isn't a big issue because the bag is actually big enough to fit the tent back in it. No more needing factory perfection to use the bag again hahaThere are tent stakes provided, so the Catio won't fly away if the wind picks up, and the sides are mesh so wind flows right through it. It's a safe design and my cats will spend hours at a time in it lounging in the sun.Great item and I highly recommend it.

My cat is very timid, so I was really anxious about taking her outside. I wanted her to enjoy the outdoors without feeling overwhelmed or unsafe. This tent turned out to be the perfect solution!We recently took it to the park, and it was such a peaceful experience. I sat and read my book while she relaxed and sunbathed inside the tent. Knowing she was secure and protected gave us both the chance to enjoy the fresh air without stress. It was such a wholesome and calming moment for us. So happy I found this; highly recommend for fellow anxious cat parents!

I was really impressed with how well-built this item was. It's very strong. And, it's also very easy to assemble and disassemble. Really, none of it should be called assembly. You basically unfold the legs (they want to fall, so it's no effort) and then pull a thing at the top until it locks into place. And it's done! Ok, you should also put in a couple support poles on the tops of the sides. But really, quite easy to assemble. It also closes up well. It will keep your kitties safe while they enjoy some fresh air.

My adult daughter put this together on her own and said it was easy to do.It appears to be sturdy and nice quality. There were no missing parts at all.The best part? The cats love to go in it and I'm hoping they'll stay in our yard and out of the neighbor's yard.

My son has 2 cats - a large male and a small female. They both enjoy watching the birds from the window sill in his apartment. Now that they will be moving to my new house, I want to have an outdoor area for them to explore while I am relaxing on the patio.The cat enclosure can be easy to set up and partially taken down for storage. I am going to collapse it and store it in my shed when not in use. Since I am putting this on the lawn, I am using the included stakes to keep it secure. I like that there is a 2nd level shelf area of the enclosure so that the cats don't need to be laying next to each other if they are inside. It is easy to place the cats into the enclosure through the top shelf zippered door or the larger side zippered door. It will take some experimenting with the cats to see how they like it.As a previous reviewer noted, it isn't as "simple and easy" to set up as the description makes it out to be. For me, I am going to detach the legs from the top frame, but keep the top set. I feel this will help to be a quick set up when I want to bring the cats out to the back yard. I was hoping to purchase some of the accessories (tunnel and sun shade) that are shown on the product page, but they aren't listed on the store's pages. Maybe they will add them when they are back in stock.
