Update- This cage is holding up extremely well. Cats are now 15lbs and jump heavily to each level. They no longer get locked up but they like to sleep in this a lot still. While I will say this cage pissed me off more than I'd like, I do love it. The instructions were not with the parts and in-between the mats which I never would have thought to look there, 100% my fault. So thinking there was no instructions I winged it, it's a cage so not hard to figure out set up. The reason for 1 star IS because the big connectors are not tight enough to actually hold the panels, just sits on them so it fell apart as I was putting it together. I have little patience so that's the reason I was mad and that I thought there was no instructions. I am a complete moron for not knowing how to use their clips, literally shown how to use and I could have smacked myself because it's common sense. So not having the instructions until after assembly or knowing how the little clips work I used zip ties. I'm moving next month so I will wait till then to do redo the correct way. I have one cat that uses the ramps and the other 2 just jump to create as much noise as possible. I do wish this thing had wheels but I'm going to be securing to a dolley once I move. My husband works overnights and these guys run like a Herd of elephants so the kittens get locked up. The cat started to claw at the carpet when the door would get shut so she was the next prisoner. This suits my needs to have them locked up while he sleeps so they will sleep and they can run when he gets up and through the night. I will be buying another one after the move to attach to this one and make a tunnel so there is more run for 3 cats. The hammock is not soft and they don't like it, I have a hammock of the cat tree that I put in her an they sleep in it. If you are on the fence definitely take a leap and get.

Overall this crate was excellent. I was initially concerned about how sturdy it would be before assembly, but after everything was put together, it is very solidly built. I have two cats, both on the large size, and this does an excellent job of supporting them. The ramps are honestly better left out as they are too narrow and the cats don't seem to like the feel of them. Once I removed the ramps, the cats jumped from shelf to shelf with ease. I do wish the kennel was more mobile, a different base or casters would help, but overall I have no complaints and would definitely buy again.

I bought this alongside a pet door that inserts into a sliding door track to turn it into a catio on my apartment balcony. My cats are little escape artists that used to drive me INSANE wanting to get outside to the patio to track the multitude of birds that visit my plants and feeders. I was always wrangling at least one of 3 cats trying to explore an elevated balcony that they could easily have jumped or fallen off of and been hurt. With this cage I have been able to provide them with ample space to climb and nap and watch their favorite TV channels--Hummingbird Network and Squirrel Central.I like that the 3 tiers each have their own door, because it allowed me to connect a little tunnel to their pet door at the bottom, and gives me access to remove the cushions for cleaning, or to reach in and provide pets or treats for any fur kids on the higher levels. I wish it had another shelf that I could add at a lower level for the 3rd cat, but I decided a quick fix would be a step stool that I will sew a cushion for.I don't really like that the provided cushions are pink, but that is just a personal preference, and I actually bought some fabric at Hobby Lobby covered in birds that I used to make covers for them. And despite the color, the cushions have been such a hit with my cats that it hasn't been an issue. It is actually a wonderful added touch that they are provided. The cats have never touched the hammock, but they are all full grown and rather larger than the hammock may hold comfortably, so I simply threw it away. They also prefer to just jump between levels instead of using the wire ramps, so those are set off to the side in the event they are ever needed. Therefore, I cannot speak to the sturdiness of them, but I will say that the way they are installed does take away from some precious basking space on the lower shelf that my cats were not pleased about, and they actually wound up removing the ramp on their own to make more room for themselves. The shelves are stable and hold up my decently heavy full grown cats, and the cushions are just cushy enough that they can jump up and get comfortable enough for a nap in the sunlight. The set up instructions were understandable, but I don't want to give it a 5 star rating for ease, as the little white tabs that hold the pieces together can be rather troublesome in areas to remove or even install, and really did a number on my hands (granted, I do have weak fingers). But overall, it is well worth the investment and easy enough to assemble that I would highly recommend it as a great value.

Product was worth the buy. It was easy to assemble and our cat seems to like it. We placed it by a window and she gets to look out and get some sunshine. Its pretty big and has enough room on the bottom for her litter box and two bowls. Once it is in its place it's not super easy to move but it can be done. It could tip pretty easy. So beware of you have little ones. My five year old pulls on it
