There is no room to put a wrench in the space given to tighten the nut for the hitch ball. On the first use the weight of the trailer bent the plate that the unit mounts to on the lawn tractor. This needs something to attach it to the vertical part of the lawn tractor to help support the weight of a trailer.

good product, solid, good height, in my case I have a club cadet and the tractor attachment is rather so and so. A little mod with angle steel and the problem is solved on the tractor itself.

Well designed and sturdy unit. Works great on my Poulan Pro. I just had to drill two holes in the existing tractor bracket and add two 3/8x18 bolts and nylock nuts. The hitch assembly brought the hitch ball up and back and gave me much better turning clearance. Perfect for towing my 4x8 box trailer, my 6.5x12 utility trailer or my trail mower around the property. No more jambing the tractor's rear tire against the trailer frame during a tight turn!
