The quality of the scissors was not impressive. They looked old and used. The packaging had dirty fingerprints all over it and was halfway opened when it arrived. Farberware is a reputable company, but I don't think they would approve of the mess these scissors came in. I kept them because it was too much trouble to return. I also sanitized them before using.

Great product, nice and sturdy handle. We had a pair for years, and the handle cracked after many years of being put in the dishwasher, but the blade never failed. Weight is also perfect, not to heavy, not to light.

I have a butcher block set of Farberware knives but the scissors became dull. So this is a great replacement

Solid kitchen scissors. Nice tight hinge. So far I've just used to snick snick tiny bits of scallions to indulge in tuna salad made with my new Duke's Mayonnaise (Northerner here). DEEElicious with the fresh scallions and MUCH easier than knife and cutting board. Also, I like utensils I use and leave out to be red and these are really nice looking.
