Your cart is empty.Crafted at our Ensenada, Mexico manufacturing facility, this genuine vintage-style 3-bolt Stratocaster guitar neck features a comfortable "U"-shaped profile and 7.25"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets. Although this neck features a 3-bolt design typical of '70s Starts, only the bottom two neck mounting pilot holes are available, giving you the flexibility to use this neck with many different guitar bodies. The synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing, while a gloss urethane finish on the back offers smooth playability.

U shape?? Lol. This thing is c a super thin C shape. It's a kid size profile and the edge of the fretboard cuts into my hands. I was thinking 70's thick U shape. Not even close. Finish cracks noted by the tuner holes. I'll post pics.

This neck was not quite what I expected. Only two of the neck pocket holes were drilled so I had to drill the other 2 myself. This neck also only takes 70s style tuners which I was not aware of so that's another thing to keep in mind. The nut is preslotted but you will have to file it down to the correct height and the Pau ferro fretboard seemed extremely dry when I first got it. A few coats of lemon oil seemed to really help with that, however. Over all if you get it on sale it's a good buy just be prepared to put in the extra work.
