cool concept. Love the compactness. What I did notice after some drags through the water to scoop some minnows for bait was that the scoop end is drooping a little more than originally. The mechanism that locks the fold out and open in place is literally a spring loaded plastic tab that covers over the ends of the support rods. I can't see this lasting a while of more rigorous use and we are literally starting out with the kids and been on about 4 trips to the pond.Pros are the net material, the size of the netting holes (not really fine but small enough to catch younger guppies and larger ghost shrimp - that size). The connecting "rod" of the net is a silicone-type hollow rod that slips onto the 2 metal rods sides to give that collapsible feature. Good concept, need sturdier materials on the extendable rod and locking tab, then this'll be awesome.
