I purchased the pair of last September and while it worked great for a couple of cooks it just stopped working. Intermittently goes on and off and has never been used at a temperature above 350. Disappointed.

I would expect Flame Boss would put excellent quality into one of the most important parts of their fan controller. The temp probe. But no! I've had this fan controller for about 6 years and have purchased 8 temperature probes for it meaning I'm lucky if I get a whole year out of a single probe. The l controller and app are very good in my opinion but i think its ridiculous the probs are made so cheap. DO BETTER FLAME BOSS!

After only a couple of uses the probe quit working and no longer read temperatures. Thus becoming useless.

Had to buy spares just in case I have a $129.00 brisket on and one fails .Only issue is clip is not tight enough to stay on, but just need to make sure you don't loose it

I used these probes 1 time and that was it. They never worked after that. Is there any warranty for these?

My Flame Boss pit probe quit working correctly. I found a replacement on Amazon and ordered it. I don’t remember how long it took to get here but it came pretty fast and worked great!

These probes take all the guess work out BBQ. No more over cooked meat, the probes along with the Flame Boss 500 make every cook perfect especially long overnight ones.

Probe is unreliable, frequently and unpredictably reads to upper limit.On the right side of the graph the pit probe is clipped to the meat probe, they should read identical temperatures but the pit probe quickly runs away.Do not recommend.

Haven't used it yet, bought it as a spare. My original Flame Boss Pit Probe is still working after about 3 years!

I bought this as a spare as they are not the highest quality and will fail when you need it most.. the sensor is not secured into the probe tip and will pull out without you knowing
