Man, this carrier looks military! I’m surprised it’s not advertised as a “tactical” cat carrier, or that it doesn’t come with its own dog tags. I’d sew a flag patch on it, but I’m not sure I could get a needle through the digital camo-patterned fabric. I doubt that the manufacturer chose that fabric in recognition that getting a cat into a carrier is frequently a full-on battle — complete with blood loss — but it does seem appropriate. This is a serious carrier. As mentioned, the fabric is sturdy. Seams are strong. The zippers are perfectly adequate, but unlike the rest of the carrier, aren’t notably beefy. Assembling the carrier is straightforward — you unfold the sides and zip them into place — but getting the zippers closed over the corners was a little tricky. Fortunately, there’s a mesh front flap for getting the pet in and out, and that flap zips and unzips more easily. You don’t want to have to fuss with a reluctant zipper while your cat is doing her best to escape. The shoulder straps are as sturdy as the rest of the carrier. In a nice touch, there is padding where the back of the carrier will come into contact with the wearer’s back. There’s a short leash inside the carrier, attached to the top. Personally I wouldn’t try using it with a cat, because I’d worry that the cat might manage to choke itself, but it could be useful with a small dog.An average 8 to 12 pound cat should have plenty of room inside. Your Maine Coon might not fit, but he probably drives himself to the vet anyway, doesn’t he?The one thing about this carrier that seems skimpy is the pad inside the carrier. It’s thin and slightly too small for the space. I’ll probably supplement it with a cushier pad from another carrier or with an old towel or two in case things get messy. (If you ever bring a cat home after it has had an enema, exercise extreme caution. I’m just saying.)

Never mind the stuffed cat toy (same size as an average cat), that’s for display only. I got this cat carrier for a kitten that I’m getting in a month. I’m really glad I got it early, because this baby has a lot of features that I needed to find before I make the big trip to pick up my new boy!The good things: This carrier has mesh “windows” that unzip for various points of entry and exit. This is also great for getting that kitty accustomed to new surroundings as it can come and go as it pleases once you’re in a secure spot for the cat to roam. It also has the backpack straps, which leaves your hands free to deal with other stuff, like luggage if you’re traveling, or bags if you’re heading out to the farmers’ market and just want to get your cat some fresh air and ambiance.Did I mention the compartments? This is Batman’s carrier. It has pockets for everything. I only wish my clothes had so many pockets — you’ll be able to store snacks, spare wipes for hairballs and travel mishaps, a collapsible bowl, and plenty of other stuff in this thing. The carrier is also really sturdy. I can see this thing holding up to a lot of abuse (which is great, because I’m hard on bags and I don’t anticipate a cat on the way to the vet is any gentler). The only downside is that, when it arrived, it had a rather pungent aroma. Not one to be stymied by a little stench, I put the carrier in an out-of-the-way spot to air out for a few days and it’s now fragrance-free!Size-wise, I can see this working for sizes up to a small adult cat. This is not a carrier for a big chonky cat's vet visits — he’ll be claustrophobic by the time you get him into the waiting room. I’d keep this for the smaller felines of the house. This is a great little carrier for smaller pets!

I ordered this KISFLY Foldable Pet Backpack Carrier in the (Camo Backpack) version for my 11 year old twins to use with their breeding rabbits. Although they are part of their 4H project, these are pet bunnies that we love very much. Not only do my kids take them places, but they also spend a week at the County Fair every year showing off their beauty. Though we do have travel cages, one of our rabbits is extremely social and likes to be on the go almost all the time. This backpack carrier is a PERFECT option for that!!!Here's what we like about it:•Excellent build quality•Feels very stable and durable•A great size for rabbits•Fully ventilated, with plenty of mesh screening all the way around•The backpack straps feel very secure•Plenty of zippered pockets to hold items you might need•Folds down flat for storing•Easy to wipe out, just in case of accidents•Soft and padded, but very stable and functional•Fun camo colorHonestly, I was blown away by the quality of this pet backpack!!! My daughter immediately put her bunny inside and took her on a "walk"... it was so cute! We will get a ton of use out of this pet backpack carrier in the summer... and I foresee it lasting a really long time! At the time of ordering it was a little less than $60, which is a great value for the money, especially considering that I have seen similar pet backpacks of lesser quality going for double at the pet store. MOM, BUNNIES & KID APPROVED! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
