The thread match the lens threads and the mount go onto the camera easy with no play.

I bought this to try my hand at some macro photography and videography, it does the job and will allow for lenses to be attached that are the correct diameter. However the tooling is clearly not perfectly consistent with the E-mount standard. It would fit my Sony a6300, but NOT my Sony FS5's. It simply would not attach to the FS5 e-mount, which is odd because you would expect it to as all E-mount lenses are interchangeable.

I got this reverser to use on my Sony NEX 5N with the Rokinon 12mm F2.0 Ultra Wide manual focus lens to see how it would work. With this setup, you lose the ability to adjust focus in exchange for a focal point that is almost touching (something like half an inch away) the lens. This a crazy level of magnification, so close that you see things that you didn't think to look for. I took a shot of a letter with an address printed on it, and you can make out the fibers of the paper! The shot of my sofa's fabric lets you see the threads that make up the threads in the fabric! That said, propping up my fingers to get these shots was challenging, and having the shutter speed low enough to keep things bright means that the movement in your hands from your heartbeat will slightly blur the shot. I plan to get creative using my Gorillapod to stabilize the camera for those crazy shots on the go. If you want to use this in a studio to get ultra-close shots of handwriting, blade filing marks, or the scratches on jewelry, go for it! Thanks for reading!

I didn't check to see the functionality of this part with an electronic lens. Does not allow any focus controls with the f1.8 Sony electronic focusing lens so it madey purchase useless. Threads fit clean and it's mount to the body was great, just doesn't do what I need it to.

An meiner A7s leider nur bedingt brauchbar. Von allen manuellen Objektiven hat nur das MC 50 MM 1.4 gepasst, alle anderen kamen nicht in den Fokus, schade.

Pretty straight forward product. Bought to try some interesting photos. Fits my lenses well. Don't forget, this is much more useful with manual lenses! There's a work around if you have a wired lens, but a major hassle. Definitely recommend using with manual.

Bought this to use with my NEX kit lenses. Fits perfectly fine on the camera, just remeber that Sony kit lenses use electronic manual focus, so you cannot adjust the focus of the lens when using a reverse mount. I have yet to try it with any true manual focus glass, but It should work no problem.

Works great on Sony a6000 e-mount camera and lenses. Reverse mount is a cheap way to experiement with macro photography. This ring is all metal and threads well on to lenses and secures well onto the camera body. Good deal.

The product is really nice and useful for creative macros. In the order hands, I'm very disappointed with the delivery, it takes fore than three months, too much in my opinion.

Such an inexpensive piece of equipment shouldn't be able to produce results like this! I just wish I had a manual lens so I could adjust the aperture without reattaching the lens. Just remember to bring lens caps to protect the "other" side of the lens.
