This adapter is awesome. All of me e-mount lenses are Tamrons. I have tried the Tamron 17-28mm, the Tamron 150-500mm and the Venus Laowa 100mm macro on my Nikon Z7. All worked perfectly. All of that straight out of the box without having to do a firmware update.

This adapter works well for the two Sony lenses I have (a 14 mm f/1.8 and a Sigma for Sony 14mm f/1.4). However, the Sigma does not lock in properly and comes lose from time to time, which makes this a dangerous solution. The Sony lens works better, but also has too much give and the lens also sometimes comes lose. This needs to be improved.The adapter allows you to use camera-internal filters from Kolarivision without problems, which gives you the choice to use ultra-wide angle lenses on full frame cameras with internal infrared filters, or ND filters with those as well.However, the latest release by Meike is better, as it latches in securely (and is much cheaper!)

lens adapter didn't work on my Z9, wouldn't focus and shutter would not work with it..

This adapter does NOT work on Nikon Z F cameras, and the camera will display a error message: “ERR - press shutter release button.” Pressing the shutter release button does NOT resolve the issue, either.The Seller, unfortunately, demands a 15% restocking fee for a return, which is understandable in certain circumstances, but NOT in this case, since there was no mention of product incompatibility for this Nikon Z camera body...Finally, there are no English instructions given -- everything is Chinese and therefore there are no instructions or troubleshooting information that is accessible to non-Chinese speaking customers.

For Zeiss Batis and other Sony Zeiss lenses on Nikon Z mount, this thing works invisibly and excellently. Also works great for the Sigma 85 1.4 DG DN. Bravo!! Wish these things were ~$100 each 'cause I'd buy one for every E mount lens I use.

I’ve been wanting to try the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG DN and with the Megadap adapter, I finally can on my Z6. Fortunately, haven’t had any issues thus far & it works flawlessly.

This works just as described. I sold all my Nikon lenses and got Sony lenses thanks to this. They work like native lenses on the z6.

Bought for my Nikon z7ii, it worked great until I turned my camera off then back on and it never worked again?
