It is very thin, and that's not a good thing. The magnet is so weak, it barely holds on the filter. Any slight bump and your expensive filter will fly off. Another issue is you would not be able to adjust a variable ND. Again the magnet is so weak that it will spin instead of the stop adjusting. And this thing isn't cheap for what it is.

These work very well! They are sleek and thin and have pretty strong magnets. Stronger than another similar magnetic filter adapter I own made by a competitor.

Plenty strong hold for my Breakthrough Photography 3 and 6 stop ND filters. Shooting weddings and docs there’s no time for screw in filters. This is a perfect solution for anyone who already owns filters they are happy with but need a faster solution.
