Good quality but kinda big. Maybe good for a gas grill top, but too big for a pan.

I love this huge spatula! I mostly use it to transfer cake layers or cheesecakes from the pan to a plate, but it can also be used to transfer items like potatoes or veggies from a baking sheet to a serving platter.

I wanted a large spatula for flipping large pancakes or large cookies. This works great. Heavy metal which will not bend.

This is super sturdy and stiff. Feels heavy and good quality. It works great for pulling a pizza out of the oven or for pancakes. My one complaint is that it doesn’t fit in the “spatula” (flipper) section of my drawer, but still worth it!

I didn’t buy this spatula for cookies. I have a countertop electric pizza oven, and I wanted a smaller spatula for the single serving pizzas I bake. The regular size spatula that came with the oven was awkward for me to use. I find this spatula to be a great size for my application and use. The blade is thick compared to regular cookie spatulas, and very sturdy. The offset to the handle is a little deeper angled and longer than my other spatulas, which I like. I use a flat 8 or 10” icing blade to slide the pizza off the spatula rather than try to shake the pizza onto the oven stone, which I find easier. Glad I found it.

Lo uso para la tortilla española en mi cafetería. es practico porque abarca toda la tortilla y no se me rompe con las pequeñas espátulas

Perfect addition to my griddle, well made and had a slightly sharpened front end which is great for cleanly sliding under your omelet or anything really

I didn't buy this for cookies. I bought this for my work with COCORAHS. My previous spatula was plastic. I need one with a wide, and durable pad and well built handle when collecting core samples of snow and ice depths. My plastic one shattered this year. The reason? I moved from Washington State to Maine. We don't get frozen rain and ice storms in Central Washington very often. Maine has proven to be quite different.I spent a fair amount of time looking at different variations of ones with the needed specs for my purposes, and finally decided on this one. When I finally received it, I found the pad to be very durable. The pad's length is 8 & 1/8th inches while its' width is 6 & 1/2. Its' thickness measures in at 1/16th of an inch. The handle is full tang with three pins. Each is half an inch wide. The length of the handle measures out at 5 &1/2 inches, and at it's widest point, the end, 1". The handle is well built and fits perfectly in my grip. The one weakness I've found is the elbow. I have to be able to pick up more weight than a mere cookie quite often. I also need to be able to chip and dig with it when needed to clear snow and ice from the area I intend to collect my core from. The elbow often bends out of shape and doesn't take much weight for it to bend at all. If I were the manufacturer, I'd seriously consider thickening this area of the tool.I haven't tested it with cookies yet. I imagine my issue, given my use, wasn't in their thinking when they made this, so it wouldn't be fair to rap them for it. Finally, bear in mind I'm still using it; hence, my five star rating.

Running a Café is always hard work, and omelettes can be a nightmare when you flip them over, this spatula solves that problem

I have a cast iron griddle and have been making large pancakes with it (I use a full ladle to pour the batter). I put two pancakes on the griddle at a time, and was looking for a spatula to turn the pancake. This item is described as "Perfect for cookies, cakes, small pizzas and pancakes", and so, I figured it would be great.I am not sure how people find this perfect for pancakes. For me, the spatula pushes the pancake across the griddle. If I were playing pancake hockey, this thing would be awesome. (Pancake hockey is where you push large pancakes across the griddle, trying to smash them into other pancakes or the end of the playing field/griddle).I thought that it was my technique, and that I needed to be more decisive in sliding the spatula under the pancake. So I tried a quick push and while I did not slide the pancake, I wound up wrecking it.So, I went back to being gentle. And the best way I have found for using this spatula is to use a wooden spoon to act as a backstop against the pancake. Then, the spatula slides right underneath the pancake, so that it can be turned easily. What I like most about this spatula is that if you flick it with your finger, it sounds like a tuning fork. Maybe it works better for "heavier" pancakes. In fact, I bet it would be just fine for a heavy pancake. Fortunately, my pancakes are very light and melt in my mouth. Unfortunately, this means I can't use a heavy metal spatula to flip them, unless I use the backstop.Edited: 6/26/14I have been using the spatula for a lot longer now, and find that it is doing a better job. If I had to guess, I'd say I was not using it properly earlier. If I press down harder on the griddle and slide the turner under the pancake, it does a much better job of getting under the pancake. This may be because the turner is "flatter" if some downward pressure is placed on it, so it makes it harder to push the pancake.Obviously, the pancake must be ready to turn for it be at its best. Sometimes a pancake batter bubbles nicely to let you know it is ready. But sometimes, when I make pancakes, the batter does not give such an easy "tell". I've found that when the pancakes do tell, they turn very easily with this spatula and it does indeed make it nice and easy to turn an overly large pancake. While big, it lays relatively flat, so if you have a drawer that does not have a silverware insert in it, it fits easily enough. You would not store with your silverware though, as it would not fit well with the drawer insert.
