Just pop the original buttons out carefully with a screwdriver or small prying device. The replacements are exactly like the originals except they are fresh. Line up the grooves in the button with each socket and pop them in. These fit the driver door of my E350 perfectly!

The black color on the edges of the buttons of my Mercedes C300 had worn off with its unsightly white base peaking through. I was very happy to find that I could replace the button covers without needing to replace the entire electronic mechanism which would have certainly entailed a more involved process with taking off the door panel. These pop off with a flat head screwdriver and pop in without much of an effort.
