For the price it is awesome. It is not an exact fit so you have to mess around with making sure whatever you are mounting is actually level with the barrel. Once it is tightened down it seems pretty secure, i just used it for lights so don't need anything perfect.

I have this on a Rem 870 with a magazine extension tube and this mount holds everything tight. It was easy to install and doesnt work itself loose. Very high quality.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for and needing! Not having a pic rail on my rifle, and still able to mount a weapon light using the front sight. Allows full use of my foregrip and out of the way of my line of sight. Perfect!

This makes mounting a light to an a1,a2, m4, or any other old school front sight post easy. Being dual sided allows left handed mounting but it saves hand space on carbine handguards and gets the light a little further out. I have Three and like them all

A few years ago I took the plastic hand guards off my AR and put an aluminum quad rail. I kept it that way for a few years but I never liked the balance which was very front heavy. The problem with mounting the light on the quad rail was that my hand wanted to be in the same place. This rail on the A2 post allow me to put the plastic handguard back on lightning the rifle. It also pushed the light forward and slightly higher in a position that was easier to activate with the thumb from either side.

I really liked this option way more than I thought I would ! works extremely well ! I would suggest adding blue loctite!! . I cranked them down extra tight and maybe a little to tight the rails now have an extremely SLIGHT bend in them now due to no other fault but my own for being silly. They still function perfectly and you can’t tell I just get carried away.I would 100% recommend these even for hard use! They are made out of well machined aluminum too incase you were wondering .Great product !!

Really crank this guy down. Your barrel will whip as you fire rounds. Mine came loose after a few magazines at a slow rate of fire. The product itself does a good job of holding a picatinny light but it needs to be very tight to be effective. I would consider adding loctite as well.It puts the flashlight in the ideal location to actuate the clicker switch. If you don’t have rails on your handguards then this is the best option for mounting a weapon light, IMO.
