This headset was $40 and it works like a charm no complaints at all. This isn’t the best headset known to man, but it also wasn’t $210.This was perfect for a budget build on an old steel frame.

Once you get the crown race on the fork (I used a piece of pvc and a rubber mallet) installs pretty easy. I did buy a headset press on Amazon for like $20 to complete the install without just banging the crap out of it with a mallet. Looks great, and smooth steering! Will buy another for my wife’s 29er.

Can't say it's bad or anything, it looks ok ?But the top cap is just 2 x FSA logos no full speed ahead anywhere on it.

I bought this for my wife's 1995 stump jumper. Way better than the old open bearing headset. Easy to install, I don't have a head set press but was able to install it using a variety of tools I had on hand. Looks great too.

The crown race is aluminum and very delicate. Putting it on caused it to bend. I re-used my steel crown race. The rest of the headset is just fine. Be careful when using the aluminum crown race on the fork.

I have been upgrading my 2003 Stumpjumper Comp. I had to replace the front forks so I decided to go with a new headset. The FSA had good reviews so I pulled the trigger. It looks great and installed with not much trouble at all (thanks Youtube). I am happy with my purchase and can't wait to get out on the trail.

Awesome headset, gives a much tighter feel with zero play in the front end of the bike while turning nice and smooth. Wish I had upgraded from the traditional cup and cone style bearing headsets a long time ago. Beautifully anodized too

The headset cups fit tight in my new frame. The frame might of needed ream/face from a bike pro but there was no build info with my frame. I was able to press them in but was difficult. Be carful to align all the FSA decals if symmetry is important to you. Works great and hope to get many miles on it. The blue color is a bit lighter than I expected but still adds the bling I wanted.
