Beautiful simple lantern that is easy to charge, doesn't use too much juice, and is perfect for camping. It works great inside the tent or at the table. It doesn't get hot so safety is not a concern. I love that I can charge it in the car. So much more durable than other junk I have, and a reasonable price.

The outdoor lamp comes with a small white remote powered by a CR2025 button battery (included) and a white charging cable. To use the remote, I had to pull out a tab. The lamp has an on/off button on the bottom; I pressed and held it for a few seconds to turn on the lamp. I use the same button to cycle through different colors. On the bottom is also a USB-C charging port. A red indicator light goes on near the charging port while charging. There's a sticker where I see it has an IP44 rating, is made in China, and the lamp has a built-in Li-ion battery, but it does not list its capacity. I see a CE certification. The lamp body itself is round and is about 6 inches wide with a large handle of the same width. The remote allows me to gradually change colors or set a static color. I can also change the speed at which it changes color. And I have a candle light function, but the light is a bit too reddish for my taste. When I press the white button on the remote, the lamp changes to a very warm white. I have four different levels of brightness. And, of course, there's an on and off button. But to turn off the lamp completely, I have to press and hold the on/off button on the bottom of the lamp.I like the romantic, soft, and warm white glow of the lamp.

I have a few rechargeable lamps, and I was really looking forward to using this item. It doesn't cast a lot of light like a flashlight does, but it's good for when you need something to light your way.The flaw in this item comes with how the handle is attached to the base. The handle attaches at the bottom of the light. There is a screw on each side. To keep the light from swiveling or just plain turning upside down when carrying it, you have to tighten the screws. Unfortunately, out of the box one of the screws was stripped, so I couldn't tighten it. When I went to tighten the other side, it got stripped also.I plan to use this light in my garage, mostly as a stationary light instead of carrying it with the loose handle. Perhaps I'll hang it on the wall to use it as an overhead light.

This lantern is a great addition to our camping supplies. It’s fairly compact but puts out plenty of light, and I love that it’s rechargeable since I loathe batteries. The battery life is impressive and lasts for hours, even on higher brightness settings. The colors and programs ensure that a wild disco party can be had at the touch of a button. The remote control is a really handy touch, especially if you're hanging the lamp up using the built-in handle. Speaking of the handle, it’s sturdy and makes it easy to carry around the campsite or hang from a branch or hook. The simple, modern design blends looks cool, while maintaining functionality.Overall, this is a durable and stylish lantern that’s just as useful at home as it is in a tent.

Overpriced chinesium.Only 4 levels of brightness, where lowest is too bright to be used as night light in the tent, and the max is not near as bright to light up the table.Candle light flickering effect is not natural.Tiny remote will get lost and you will have only on/off button that does not control the brightness, only on/off and color. It does not remember last setting, if you dim it and turn off, when turned on it will be at max brightness again. Battery is tiny and will not last long, there’s plenty of room in this light to have bigger battery, but manufacturer cheaped out.Bottom is not water proof, if you think you can hang it upside down, rain will pool in the battery/charger recess.43$ is a rip off for that light.

This lantern is everything that I was hoping it would be. It's attractive and has a large surface area of light, so it provides lots of illumination to any space. It has lots of applications. You can use it on your patio or in your backyard, on tables, or as an emergency light if your power goes out during fierce thunderstorms. This is why I ordered it. It has several levels of light intensity and, when fully charged, will last for many hours - definitely plenty to get through a power outage. It seems to be well made - if you don't put it through any abuse it should hold up just fine.
