I recently installed this G4KJ 2.0 2.4 Timing Chain Kit in my 2015 Kia Sorento, and I’m very impressed with its performance. The kit was easy to install, and all the components fit perfectly, including the oil pump gear. After replacing the old timing chain, I noticed smoother engine performance, improved acceleration, and a quieter engine. This Theta series Kia/Hyundai engine requires regular maintenance to go the distance and deliver high miles. Part of that is replacing the timing chain as early as 75,000 miles, along with the tensioner and chain guides and wear sprockets. These are heavy-duty parts and our installation was flawless - engine now running without the chain sounds and the valve timing advance is working well giving the car more zip. I trust this kit. Proof is in my Sorento right now.

For one the chain for the oil pump does not fit on the sprocket so the chain is no good rendering the whole kit useless. When I installed the spring loaded tensioner it cracked down the side and is no good. I am giving it two stars because the guides and the other timing chain as well as a sprocket was viable and I was able to use them but had to buy new tensioner and oil pump chain. I do not recommend this item at all.
