So far this has been a great addition to our yard. It seems pretty durable, it has adjustable feet so if it’s on uneven ground you can make it level. Set up was easy. I only have a couple of complaints, sometimes the clip that attaches the ball to the pole comes off, so we have to go running to retrieve the string and ball. Also the screw to tighten it so that it’ll wrap around the pole doesn’t work on our, it’ll still spin around without wrapping. We don’t mind that part since we don’t play for points.

Recently set this up in our yard, and it’s been a hit. The height adjustment is simple, so my younger sibling can play too. The ball is durable, and the rope doesn’t tangle easily. I like that you can switch between wrapped and unwrapped play—adds some variety. The base stays put even when playing on grass. No complaints so far!

We just picked this up recently, and wow—it takes me back. The setup was super manageable and didn’t need any fancy tools. The rope and ball are sturdy, and the yellow color makes it easy to spot in the yard.We’ve had a couple of quick matches already. It’s been fun getting active again with something that reminds me of schoolyard days. Looks durable, too. Excited to keep it outside for the summer.

I grabbed this heavy-duty tetherball set for our backyard, and it’s been an awesome addition for both the kids and adults. Setup was straightforward—the set comes with everything you need: poles, base, tetherball, rope, even a pump and water bag for stability. Once we filled the base with water, it stayed with good stability, even when the kids got a little too competitive!One of the coolest features is adjustable height. The metal poles can be set to different levels, so it works great for my younger kids and is still fun for adults comfortably. This tetherball set looks like it's going to be a great addition to our backyard activities. It's something that the adults can enjoy just as much as the kids, and even the dog seems curious about the ball. It's the kind of simple entertainment that gets everyone outside and moving around. Having something like this that's easy to set up and seems durable is exactly what we were looking for to add a little more fun to our outdoor time.

This is going to make summer fun in the backyard so much better this year! We have had a few really nice not rainy days this past couple of weeks where we've been able to get out and enjoy the tetherball pole. I had no issues setting it up myself other than filling it with water. I'm sort of wondering if a more permanent location in our yard and SAND would be a better idea than water? I don't really like setting things like this up and then taking it down, as we are lacking in space to store such things. We're planning a summer fun party for the kids in July and this will be a central feature for my pre-teen and her friends. I think as long as no one is OVERLY aggressive with hitting the ball and no one tries to hang on the ball and swing (I remember kids doing that with the tetherball pole on the playground in elementary school), it seems like it will hold up for several seasons. In all, I think it is a good value for the money and would make a positive addition to summer parties if you've got the space for it.

I’m in my early fifties, & when I was around 7, my Dad bought me a tether ball kit. I can still remember the base he made, using an old tire that he’d filled with cement. I spent hours in my driveway hitting that ball, & before I knew it, became the 3rd grade recess tether ball champion.This kit includes everything needed to set up your very own tether ball pole. It’s constructed with pretty solid materials, & it’s definitely not be of those overly cheaply made sets. I was so excited to try to see if I was still able to play, that I did not wait for the husband to get home from work, & I put the kit together. From start to finish, I’d say it took me about a half an hour. Simply assemble the base, attach & fill the water bag, insert the screws to attach the poles, & lastly attach the tether ball. The absolute hardest part of the entire process was filling the water bag, as it’s difficult to get it completely filled without the water rushing out.I am very happy to have taken the chance on this tether ball set, as it’s much higher quality than I’d have expected considering the price. Everything is really well made, & the water bag keeps the pole pretty straight, even when the ball is hit considerably hard. I really enjoy the fact that it can easily be moved when needed, & that not only can the adults use it, but it also keeps my friends kids entertained. Highly recommend!
