This is more the size of a doll umbrella, but then, parasols are more for show than usefulness anyway. I wouldn't say it's the best made accessory ever, but for the price, I wouldn't expect it to be. The metal is very shiny, which kind of detracts from the historical vibe that I'd prefer for this. I plan to use it for some social media posts featuring historical costume, and this will pass for that. It might look inaccurate to wear to any kind of historical events, since it's quite a bit smaller than I imagined.
