First replacement on my 20+ year old GE top freezer. Run side worked but after a few seconds with no start boost the line overload would trip. Took apart relay and little disc was dust and contacts melted. Went over the whole fridge, also found defrost temp switch was separating so got one of those, too. While waiting for Amazon delivery, cleaned the entire fridge. Today it's like a new fridge! Thank goodness the weather was like an outdoor fridge. Saved all my food.

I watched a YouTube video and it was very informative. I was about to put it on the curb but figured I had nothing to lose. The unit is about 15 years old and I assumed it's life was over. It took 15 minutes to see the problem and order the needed part. $8.98 and it's making ice and keeping my water bottles nice and chilled. Thanks for not rushing into a unreturnable situation. Always check out the YouTube Videos before trashing anything.

Bought part as a replacement for a burned out original part on a small box freezer. The part is an exact replacement and it seems to be working fine on the freezer's compressor. The price is reasonable for a factory repair part and the delivery made it simple to obtain. Hope I can find more parts for my various appliances should those items need to be repaired in the future.

Thanks to some you tube videos I was able to diagnose my fridge and determine this relay was faulty. For $20 I received a genuine GE part in a few days and was able to get things running properly again. It fit exactly as the old one did which made installation pretty simple.
