This charger output was not with the generator when I bought it used. After searching for this item, I found this one was what I needed for the 12 Volt DC charger output. It works well, and allows the additional option of charging any 12 Volt DC battery as well as the 120 Volt AC output. Very happy with the purchase.

I have a generac 7550EXL. For my generator the red and black clips were wired reversed. The black stripe should be on the red clip for my generator. Pic shows the cable after correction. It kept tripping the generator breaker as received. (No generator damage).

Reliability will be the only question. So far so good.Metal seems of decent quality. I coated the plug with some dielectric grease to make sure it stays corrosion free.

This item is NOT 1.2 meters long as the listing says. It is 28 inches long (.7m). Even if it were 1.2 meters (47 inches) that would still be too short to run from a generator to a battery in a vehicle. You'll need to buy some extra wire and lengthen it yourself.

This is identical to the charger that you get with the Harbor Freight generator that allows you to charge the generator battery right from the generator. Polarity is correct also so need to switch the wiring.

I believe picture and description noted it was a “T” design which is my configuration. It is a “Y” IMO. It did not work for me. Honda generator 600 was my application.

I have a small inverter generator that uses this to top up a battery. I don't remember if it came with one of these or not. But I couldn't find it, so ordered one as a replacement.
