This design is far superior to the other style so it stays where you mount it. I have wood hoops on one set and resin on the other and this clamps on perfectly to both.

This is very much like the Pearl mount, but less expensive, and just as good. It has thick rubber protection at all hoop contact points, so it will not mar the hoop.

Great piece but too short for me. I use a 20" bass drum. If you use a 22" it would be perfect height.
