Most of my kitchen utensils are GIR at this point. I had several other brands of silicone utensils before and experienced several different problems. I love everything about my GIR utensils. Only brand I would recommend.

These do the job just fine and are safer alternative to plastic alternatives. My only issue with these is that oil and grease seem to want to stick to them, making it very difficult to wash them off - especially if you have soft water. Otherwise a good purchase.

These new silicon utensils are an excellent value. A bit stiffer than my previous versions and very usable, Do not have the chemical issue present in the black plastic ones we threw away. Particularly found the ladle to be more usable than previous utensil. Just something about the size and shape makes it more effective. Even bought another set for a Christmas gift.

After reading about how toxic plastic and nylon cooking utensils can be, I found these gems. They work great for my needs, dishwasher top rack safe and most importantly made of food grade silicone. There are no seams for food to collect in. I ordered the confetti color and they are very cheerful. Ladle is a decent size, all the other utensils are very useful. Definitely worth the investment! Last note, these are stiffer than some other similar silicone utensils I purchase. Mind you, the edges tend to be more flexible then plastic, but did not effect their usefulness for me.
