The brackets were not included. Also it wasn't spinning very easily and ceased up so had to used parts from old one to let it turn easy. Also needed to used old fan blade. This was the only mechanical part available for my fridge. Grateful as it saved my fridge from going to a landfill. Manufacturers don't want you to fix them to make more profits which is so wasteful and not sustainable.

This evaporator fan motor will fit the WP4389142 but the motor's shaft is turning in the wrong direction. It will not work.

Part is made out of plastic. You have to reuse bracket from old motor and install metal screw into a flimsy plastic body. Started making noise after a month and now I need a new one!

The motor seems fine, but as a replacement for part number 2176298 it does not fit into an older model Kenmore refrigerator, which is what I bought it for. The back housing is too deep and does not fit into the space between the back wall of the freezer and the mounting bracket.

i installed fan just like the instructions stated. After 6 months, the motor started making a loud whining noise. I had to order another fan from another seller. what a waist of time and money.
