As Easy As

Quick Install

1

Mark the O2 Sensor Location

Mark the oxygen sensor location, drill a 13/16” hole, and thoroughly clean the area around the exhaust pipe where the sensor bung will be installed, removing any shavings.

2

Install the Clamp-On Adapter

Open and attach the Clamp-On Wideband Oxygen Sensor Bung Adapter to the exhaust pipe, ensuring the sensor port lines up with the hole that was drilled.

3

Thread In the O2 Sensor

Thread the wideband oxygen sensor into the bung adapter, taking care not to damage the tip of the sensor, and secure the sensor wiring with zip ties.

After ripping a o2 bung off my pipes, this little guy came in handy. Easy to put on and with the gasket provided, there were no leaks, so it worked well. Well worth the money ey spent for this type of quality

Some POS stole my cats off my car. I used 2 of these with some cheapo O2 sensors & $35 cats off of Amazon and it turned off my CEL. This clamp is a good build.

Can't get the bunge off to replace your corroded and highly fused/rusted O2 sensor? Okay - space permitting on the pipe - drill a hole and install this clever work around! The gasket that comes with it seems to have done the task well and all things seem to be going well, no codes thrown from bank 1 sensor 2 since going this route. I tried to remove the 02 sensor the correct way, but the first post sheared off. Not good. cut wire and left it in place. meh.

It looks like a good fix. Great fit for 2.5" pipe. The gasket doesn't self-stick like it claimed, but no big deal. It's pretty simple to use.Update: The gasket didn't seal well and was causing a P0157 on the downstream oxygen sensor. Part of the problem was the gasket overlapped into the hardware joint, so it couldn't tighten up quite right. You can see the soot path on the clamp and the gasket. I coated the gasket with high temp rtv and the trouble code went away.

Gave it 4 stars because I didn't get to use it. My O2 sensor is on the cat so this wouldn't work, but looks like a quality product. Was very impressed with it. If you don't want to weld a new bung this is a great alternative.

This was purchased for the sole purpose of eliminating the CEL on my 97 Cherokee. I removed the cat on my XJ, and was going to weld in a new O2 bung, but my welder died, and so did that idea. This served is purpose perfectly. It doesn't leak, was quick and easy to install, and only requires drilling a hole on the exhaust. If later on you don't need the sensor anymore, just use a plug and leave the clamp in place. My only complaint is the bolts are hex socket cap, and I don't like using hex socket, I would have preferred Torx, or even just carriage bolts, so you only need to worry about tightening down the nut and not holding the bolt as well.
