We've improved our rubber formula, which allows the adhesive to cure more quickly without the accelerator. Additionally, keeping the accelerator out of the kit allows the adhesive to last longer. When the accelerator and adhesive are stored side by side, it actually causes the adhesive to slowly cure within the tube.
We received a lot of feedback that patches applied without the accelerator adhere better and last longer on a compromised sidewall.
The kit includes a full GlueTread sidewall tire repair kit, 1 Colby Emergency Valve Stem (manufactured in the USA from Quality 360 brass components, NO TOOLS required, installs from the outside of the wheel in under 5 minutes), a plug kit with insertion T-handles (made in Montana from machined aluminum), and detailed instructions.

Have not had to use it yet. I often am running in the backwoods of Alaska. Out here you better be ready for anything. From what I see from friends and others, this kit works. It could save your life

My kids and I go off-roading as frequently as I can get off work. One of the pitfalls is getting an unfortunate puncture in the tires or a valve getting ripped out. This kit has a replacement and items to fix a sidewall or tire puncture so that it can last till I get out and get a tire fixed or replaced. Great product to have regardless if you off-road or not.

I watched a UTube video to learn how to plug my lawn mower tire. Remember to cut off the plug excess when you finish. The product worked great.

I wanted a new tire repair kit for my truck that I use off-road and this kit covers all the bases in a single bag. It is not a cheap kit, but you do get what you pay for here. This would not be worth it for everyone if just wanting to plug a tire puncture when driving around town, but for off-road use when you run the risk of a tire failure (including side wall punctures) in the middle of nowhere, it is good to know that there is a quality tool kit onboard to be able to handle that on site. Everything in the kit is great quality and ready to go.

I have not used it yet, but it provides peace of mind for me, knowing that I have it IF I am on the road.I recently did a road trip from Northern Va to Albuquerque New Mexico. knowing that I had the kit onboard, just in case, eased my concerns on getting stranded out in the middle of nowhere.
