I have 2 of these, most of the time I used it on my Sony a7iii as a master but there are times, like an indoor wedding or other low light events that I need to add a little more light to my subjects. Flash is great for the money compared to other flashes and very easy to operate. I've not had any problems with the parts and the best part is the battery life last for hours and I've never had to deal with any battery issues, even on a 5 hour shoot. Highly recommend.

I bought this flash a year ago but have barely used it, probably only 2 or 3 times so it is still essentially still brand new, and when I recently went to use it, it no longer works. I believe the battery and/or charger is malfunctioning and now the flash does not work at all. Emailed the customer service several weeks ago asking for assistance or information and they have not even bothered to respond. Save your money and do not buy this flash, apparently will not even last a year with very little usage and the customer service is even worse leaving you on your own and out of money.

The only thing that is camera-specific about the Godox Speed Lights is the hot shoe. While Nikon and Canon have substantial metal plates on their shoes, Sony opted for a very fragile design. This makes it difficult for a Sony flash to be used off-camera held by handles and flash stands. There is really nothing to grab on to there, so you will damage your use the flash off-camera much. Having made this mistake, I opted for the Canon version of the V1 flash and now I'm much happier. Of course, you will never be able to attach the flash on-camera if you go this route, but I have the baby Godox (TT350S), which is much lighter if I want to do that.Really, I've searched high and low for something that can adequately hold on to a heavy Sony flash, including an $80 handle by MagMod, and there is just nothing. So, if you plan to use this flash off-camera do yourself a favor and buy the Canon version!

Bought two Godox 86011S models for my sony cameras. Paired with Godox XProS remote trigger I can fire these things from the camera or anywhere off camera I want. Great product.

This flash is awesome, the battery last forever. You won’t miss your battery flashes at all. Very powerful and the price is great for what you’re getting.

Great lights. I have four of them and use the Godox X-proS for firing remotely from the camera. The batteries seem to last better than flashes with AA batteries. HSS works well even using the Godox remote.

This is my second Godox V860II flash. All of my flashes are Godox and I'm very pleased.I was on a shoot and after about 700 shots I noticed my flash was heating up and misfiring.. 700 SHOTS on full power. THat event taught me a valuable lesson. I needed another flash as back up.Definitely get it, you won't regret.
