I bought his for my grandson to teach him gun safety. The M-1 in excellent, shoots well but most importantly, for the money it is a VERY good representation of the actual M-1 carbine. For the price I was surprised how good it looked. All the key functions are there, it cocks and cycles like the real thing, the safety is robust and authentic, and it feels like an M-1. While not made of real wood the stock looks very much like it. I cannot recommend it enough.

The Item Looked a lot liked the real M1 Carbine. I know, because I own a original M1 Carbine. Except for, the Orange Tip
