This is a direct fit, direct replacement for the oem tensioner pulley.It fits the 1990 5.7L V8 small block engine.

First off Amazon's shipping and customer service is top notch. The product however is very poorly made with cheap metal. I installed this tensioner on my 92 GMC 1500 with no problem. Went to reinstall the new belt and the nut on the tensioner stripped out. After that there is no way to move the tensioner to install the belt. I removed the pulley from the tensioner and discovered not only did the nut strip but it also broke about a 1/8 inch of "metal" off as well.Long story short, just stick with AC Delco.
