For the price I didn’t have a lot of expectations. It’s actually well made and has done well.It secures well on our Bassett hound and he seems to enjoy it. The colors are vibrant and everyone seems to love it.

We love this little raincoat for our girl! It keeps her back and head dry and she’s not as hesitant to go out in the rain. The fit is true to size! Great value for the money, and very easy to put on!!

In our experience the sizing is true. The 2XL is a little large on Puppers but that is what we wanted. This way, in the cold weather when the rain and wet snow is flying, we can layer this raincoat overtop of the his coat or a doggie sweater.The coat is waterproof and the hood is nice and deep. Our dog has very big, pointy ears much like a German Sheppard. The hood is actually big enough to go right overtop of his ears and come down over his forehead. He actually does not mind it. This was an unexpected and welcomed surprise. Puppers has two other rain coats and does not like to wear the hoods on them at all. With a shake of his head, Puppers is able to put the hood on and take it off as he wishes. When the rain is heavy, he will voluntarily put the hood over his head to protect his ears.The length of the coat is long enough to cover our dog's long legs. While it does not stop water and mud from being kicked up from the road, it does offer him protection from rain driven by a slashing wind. As we live very near to a large body of water, driving winds quite regularly accompany rain or snow. The two, back, elastic leg straps on this rain coat are essential to keeping the coat in place and are one of the main features I appreciate about this coat. Puppers' other rain coats did not come with these and my Wife had to sew some on.The coat is very visible. It does not matter if it is rainy, sleeting, dark, or a heavy fog, the bright yellow stands out and the reflective strips glow in any lights that hit them.My only complaint about this coat is the belly strap. The entire coat is so easy to put on a dog but the belly strap. It runs under the dog's middle behind the front legs and before the back legs. From there, it is fitted through a slide-buckle and folds back on itself held in place with a Velcro®️ strap. You have three choices, 1) undo and redo the buckle every time you use it, or, 2) leave it done up and only loosen it and slide it over your dog's head, or, 3) leave it done up like in #2 and slide it on and off your dog's rump. This is not an ideal feature, unfortunately. We are very lucky that our dog does not mind us dressing and undressing him. If you have a feisty pup, this may be difficult to do for each rainy walk.All in all, we recommend this doggy raincoat. This recommendation is based on the quality of the waterproof material, the clarity of the printing ('I heart My Dad'), the reflectiveness of the safety stripes, the convenient leg straps, Velcro®️ chest strap, and leash flap. My only caution is the belly strap. Please consider your dog's personality before ordering. If you dog is fine with you handling his/her paws, or if your dog can stand calmly waiting for a walk, then by all means Yes! this raincoat is fantastic.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

Measurements are so off! Ordered the size recommended on the chart and my pup drowns in it. Material is similar to the classic yellow slicker raincoat so I feel it would keep your little one nice and dry. Attached hood is convenient, only if your tolerates something on his head. Mine does not. The "I heart" logo is large and stands out. I would recommend sizing down at least one size. Very well constructed and priced.

Purchased size XL for our 50lb puggle. It's a good size as it's not too tight and covers him from the rain quite well. Took him out twice in rainy weather and it does it's job well. Wife loved the 'I ❤️ Mom' message as this is her little boy.

This is such an adorable rain jacket for your pup - I got this for my 50lbs Pit as she hates the rain and her existing rain jacket is getting a little tight so had to update it. I love the Yellow color of it, she won't be missed when walking around and it has reflective sections on the hood as well as back, so if you're a night walker then cars should be able to see. The "I love my mom" was just to adorable to pass up, I got this in a size XL - my pup usually ends up being in the middle of a Large and XL so to be on the safe side I usually go with the bigger size so she has room - while I could have done just fine with a large in this one, it's not crazy big that I can't use it on her and lets face it extra material in a rain jacket isn't a bad thing.The most annoying part about this rain jacket and it seriously needs to be re-thought is the underneath Velcro strap that strap around your pups belly/rib cage. It has to be passed through this small buckle which is difficult to do since they don't give you a lot of room to get it through combine that with a wiggling dog and it was very frustrating to try and attach this - it's great that it Velcro's in place however I think they need to get rid of the buckle. Material is very waterproof, it does have good layering to it when feeling the material, ran it under the faucet and nothing came through so is sure to keep your dog nice and dry.

The first thing to know is that this jacket runs a little bit small. It’s easy to use. You simply pull it over their head and attach the belly strap. I don’t usually use the leg straps that are at the back. I feel like there either too baggy or not attached in the right place. It does run a little small so for her it doesn’t cover everything, it is easy to use and very durable easy to wash. I love the message. I just wish I had gotten it in a bigger size.Very durable and coverage is a little marginal underneath, but super good on the top

I bought 3 different ones because my dog has anxiety issues but he easily let me put this on bc it has a strap around the neck and chest! Does perfect! He’s 40 lbs!
