I’ve used half of this bag on a total of 50sq feet and 2 months later there is literally 3 small tuffs of grass. I finally gave up and threw a handful of turf builder seed and the area is covered in grass in 10 days. I literally spread this 4 times and even bought fertilizer for this and it couldn’t grow grass. I watered the dirt every day and nothing grew. This was a huge waste if time and money

This gras has a decent germination rate even if you don't follow the proper procedure of mixing/covering with soil, and regular watering. Lots of seeds. Not pencoater seed is of course a plus because you gen more seed in the bag. I noticed ~5% of seed husk, so cleani g off the seeds coukd have been done somewhat bettter. You can just sprinkle this seed over the existing lawn to overseed or over semi-barren spots to repair the lawn. In my case the germination was good even in completely barren clay soil with no fertilizer added whatsoever. Slightly more expensive than I'd be comfortable paying for next time, so ill be bargain shopping next time I need grass, or until the seller drops the price at least10%.

This grass looks great. Takes a little while to grow but that's why I went with a slow growing grass. Needs lots and lots of water to germinate but when it does it is so nice and green. Spray it with Tenacity to keep weeds away and doesn't kill this new grass. See a bunch of bad reviews but I'm thinking they didn't water enough.

shipping was on time. Quality was as expected. I have a few trouble spots in my lawn. This was just the right amount to help with those spots. I even had extra left over. So I will save that for future spots. My advice is to make sure you cover it with something. Otherwise the birds will be loving your lawn and all the food you just spread across your lawn. haha. I use a grass seed mat. Lay your seed then place the mat on top. Make sure you keep it wet. I watered 2xs day. Once in the early morning and again in the evening. On really hot days I would got out and water again. This helped germatate things faster. Over all I would recommend.

I used this stuff starting about three years ago and the lawn never looked better. Always getting compliments. I’m in the mid to lower south and with fertilizer it stayed green up until end of July which is good for any grass in this area and quickly regained the yard in Oct. This past growing season has been a disaster for any lawn because of the drouth we all had across the board. I quickly regained my yard by putting down this seed when it turned a little cool this fall. Now both my front and backyards are filling in once again. Can’t wait to see how it looks once it all fills out again. This is good grass seed with no weed seed. Buy it if you want a beautiful lawn that everyone compliments.Updated with current photos.

Love that this is uncoated! Germination happens way quicker than with the coated variety as long as your diligent with watering. I used the hyrdo method to start a new lawn and the seeds took VERY well! Grass a year later has beautiful blue ting to it. Holds up pretty well to the smaller pets we have but our lab could ruin concrete so this had no chance from the start. Great grass - only complaint is at the price point it is, it should be 5lbs instead of 3lbs.

Grass seed cannot grow at all. After i reviewed the some posts on this product which said it can grow very well. and then i tried it again carefully based on instruction. but finally it still cannot grow at all. It is very strange. i believe these seed cannot group at all. It is not expensive for 3 lb seed, and i do not need to return it. but it really waste time!the seed need to take a long time to grow up. some of them are dead. I changed my above review. and give 3 stars

So happy with this product! From appearance I got virtually 100% seed started within the 10-14 days described. No weed seed at all. I did nothing special, just followed instructions. Love that the seed has no filler nor coating so my yard stays eco/safe. The grass is still young and growing, but it looks very high quality so far, strong fine blades with beautiful color.I've ordered more to seed additional areas.
