Purchase this to replace the one on an ovation guitar. This one was narrower than the original ovation guitar bridge I had to use some extra wood to modify the bridge so it would fit properly but appears to be working just fine.

I have a Washburn DCE10, and the piezo set up never worked correctly. I finally got up the courage to take it apart after decades of playing it without being plugged in. The new piezo saddle fit better than the original. I didn't have to shim it vertically, and there was just enough room in the saddle cutout to shim for perfect intonation. The saddle cut perfectly for the action. Very crisp, clear sound, and the guitar plays better than it ever did! 5 stars!!

im not sure how everyone else is able to install this on a 6 strings guitar, it only has 5 slots! am I missing something here?

It can melt directly to any flat area on your guitar in the bridge area. Very different than unders saddle pick ups. I am very happy with it I believe that it was used on many Washburn models

The pickup is a suitable replacement for an Ovation Model 1512 pickup.

I got this to replace a pick up in a store brand acoustic electric guitar that held special significance for a friend.What I appreciated most about the listing was the exact length, depth, and especially width of the pick up. Every other listing I had seen looked very similar, but did not specify the exact dimensions.Amazon projected shipping out 3 months and since it appeared to be coming from Asia, I had not problem with that. In actuality, it only took about 1 month to get here.Fit is of most importance with these kinds of pickups. This one was perfect, tight enough that it will not fall out when the strings are off.As expected, it sounds like a piezo pickup and had the perfect sensitivity for the preamp on this guitar.If you are unfamiliar with piezo pickups, they need a preamp.If I had it to do over, I would buy this same item!

I have not installed this just yet. It is much wider than any of my guitars. It is well made, the company reached out to make sure everything went well, but I have to get up the nerve to start grinding on my guitar - no going back.
