Instructions for setting the combination:
Put the lock in the open position by twisting the face of the lock (the half that displays the combination). Locate the set pin on the side of the lock. Using a ballpoint pen, push in the set pin and hold. Turn the dials one at a time to set your own code. Release the set pin after your code is set. Pull apart the lock halves and place the half with the combination over the triggerguard. Match the other half on the opposite side of the triggerguard and fit the shafts together. Press the lock together until it's unmovable. Remove by dialing the combination, twisting the face of the lock and pulling it apart.Desertlady1

ordered a Bunch For transporting some of my Air Gun collection out to the field in my car . Fast Shipping and interactions with seller were quick and responsive , But I give up . the product is a cheap copy , probably from china , Not the brand name on the ad , That is just the common reference , like Coke or Jello . BUT these are Better than the Master Lock brand of trigger locks .Some of the trigger locks in my order have the wheels facing the opposite way than normal . So I got to flip the rifle over to read the wheels .On one of the locks , the wheels would not rotate , I notified the seller and in exceptional quick time , I was sent the replacement ; Pictures of the replacement lock show that the New Replacement lock will open , even though the combo is wrong ; I doubt that the seller will send a third trigger lock , but as to the quality , I wouldn't want to take another chance on a new lock . I'm Done with this , Even though the seller is Not at fault .

Stury built, tight fitting. Easy to use and keeps gun secure. Well worth it. Best lock I found, and no keys to loose.

This thing is made of steel. You can feel the weight when you handle it. Easy to use and it keeps your gun secure. Love the way the the face of it slides open to release the lock. I highly recommend this lock.

The lock is easy to remove since you don't have to keep up with a key. Appears well made. Only reason for not giving it a 5 is that it's a little difficult to see the chrome shiny letters in a dimley lit area.

I bought this combo lock for a Colt M4. In order to use it effectively you have to take out the rubber pads that come with the lock. if not, it leaves the trigger guard release button exposed and you can take it right off. quick to take off due to combo, no need to look for keys. the best trigger lock for an AR style rifle so far.

Fits on my 590A1 Mossberg (51663) and it works great so far. It is secured tightly around the trigger guard, but does not touch the trigger itself. The lock does not jiggle to the extent where it might come loose and engage the trigger(I have yet to really try and force the lock to malfunction)as long as you press firmly when setting the lock.The combo is easy to reset and the lock is easy to set. I would recommend trying to lock it after you have changed the combo and before you put it on your firearm just in case.Minus 1 Star because the rubber padding is not glued to the metal lock. When it is not on the Mossberg it tends to slide off the edges. I will probably have to glue it on in the future to losing the padding.
