This pull cord is super strong and well made. The end of the rope burns/melts neatly into a tight blob and I have not found any loose threads or strings. 100 feet of cord will probably outlast me, but it is great knowing that I have more cord waiting in the garage if I ever break or wear out a pull cord. It was easy to install on a generator I am restoring and I think the pull start mechanism on most machines is about the same. Remove a few screws from the cover and the mechanism comes off. Then it is simply a matter of pulling the old cord to or near the end, block the spring loaded mechanism from retracting and install the new cord. It looks nice and works great with the new pull cord.

Nice rope, very strong, seems well made. I bought this just for general around the house rope, like hanging pinatas or strapping things down. Good amount of rope at a nice price. Tiny note.... it came a bit unravelled and tangled on the end. It should have a notch cut on the top like a spool of thread does to store the end. So, I notched it myself with some nippers (see photo) and now it stores perfectly!

Nice cordage nice blend feels verry good has a nice pull to it easy to cut to size and heat up the ends to ANTI Frey when cut feel like it will hold up over long hours of use even feel like it would be good cordage for say out doors hiking camping ect Great buy

I've used this on a few small engines, and its worked well. Most recently I replaced the rope on a Briggs and Stratton engine (photos) and it worked perfectly. Same size and thickness as the OEM rope.Overall, its worked great on the projects I've used it for.

I always like to have spare parts on hand. This 5 mm size was one that I did not have, and will be useful for larger engines that require a thick starter cord. The 100 ft roll should last quite a while. This is a full nylon cord and will require you to fuse the ends when cut. The tight weave is good for abrasion resistance.

Not a bad string at all but, you better wrap the cut area before cutting and have something ready to melt the end quickly. I tried cutting it without and it frayed really badly. Otherwise a very strong string that I will be using as replacement in the future.

Excellent pull cord rope at a great price for what you get. Strong, well made and will last! Every time one of my pull cord ropes break, I end up rigging something with an older piece that I saved. When I saw this available, I thought, "hey, I'll get this and be set forever!" You get 100 feet of it and usually every machine (chainsaw, mulcher, blower etc...) only uses only 2 or 3 feet of it. 100 feet will last me a lifetime. Plus, I can use it for a ton of other small stuff that may come up like hanging my hummingbird feeders, strapping things down and whatnot.
