I got this Herfair USB to HDMI Adapter for Monitor USB to replace one that I've been using for a couple of years. It's not totally plug-and-play but it's very easy to install the driver. Just open the File Explorer and you will see a new USB disk, just run the EXE file and reboot your PC. As I already had a USB Video driver installed it replaced the old drivers with the new one. I feel that it is a little faster than the one I had. Note that this adapter adds a USB HDMI display but the vídeo is not processed by the video card, but by the main processor, so you may feel a little delay moving the mouse or scrolling. This new video is for light video processing, like emails, browse texts on the web, it is not for graphics or vídeo, it will work but will be very slow. It is an excellent option to add an extra display.

I needed this to add a 2nd HDMI monitor to my Windows 11 PC. Works well. Plug and play with built in drive that contains the driver. Just plug it into an unused USB A port. Install the driver and it works.

It didn't work how I wanted to use it, so that's why I took the star off. However, for basic use, it does work. So if you need this standard, it's a great tool

Your computer has to recognise product…once you download and install software it will open automatically and what’s so great is it’s not a duplicate screen …it’s a 3rd screen and the Arrow just keep going from screen to screen! It’s a great upgrade for the price! I’m very happy with this upgrade!

Ease to install and works well. It helps to add an extra monitor

I selected this over another Vine option because the other one clearly indicated you had to first install a proprietary driver that was included on the device. This meant it would first mount as a flash drive, you install third party software. For security purposes, that's a hard no. I assumed this was DisplayLink and would use native drivers to Windows, but this unfortunately is the same. You have to install shady drivers first. Hopefully, they will update the listing to indicate that. I would pass on anythign that requires you to first mount as a flash drive and install god knows what on your device...

it works, but will have a lot of lag. if this doesn't bother you, then this adapter work fit your needs. look elsewhere if lagging is an issue. but if thisbisbyiirbonly option then it will work.QUICK INSTRUCTIONS: your computer will first recognize the adapter like regular usb drive. open it and install the driver. restart computer and it works! not plug and play....its plug, install, restart, play.

Well, so far not impressed. This may be ok if you really have no other option. I did need to install the driver (I use Win11) although I did not disable my antivirus as required in the instructions. On my Surface tablet It will default to a resolution of 1280x720 and it doesn't look great on my 24" monitor. I increased it to 1920x1080 and the text is still grainy and hard to read. In comparison my other display is set to 1366x768.There is also a noticeable delay/jerking of the mouse cursor, it is frequent enough to be really annoying if you are using the mouse. No significant delay in typing that I have noticed.I was able to display VLC video and New Clips from the web on the screen and there is a slight delay and stuttered motion. However I attempted to stream video from Hulu and HBO... the ads will play however when I get to the movie the picture blacks out... So either way, this device is not a good option to display video content and only marginally ok for displaying text.I really don't think I would recommend this unless you have no other option. Perhaps it works better with other model PCs, but with my Surface, I would say it is poor.
