I have a house in a rural area where the signal is very poor, one day I saw someone recommend this antenna in the community network, well put, I decided to try it. We use Verizon 4GLTE for phone and internet. I tested the antenna and the results went from 10.5Mbps to 48Mbps. what can I say, it's definitely worth the $39.99.

Bought this hoping to get better signal while camping. Connected this after seeing my initial signal strength. It actually made the signal level drop after connecting it. Total waste of money.

I am sorry but this antenna does ABSOLUTELY nothing to enhance my signal. In fact I got less coverage with this compared to the original antennas on my box. I wish to have a refund please and thanks. This is a wasted purchase. Sorry!

After receiving this I noticed that it had been assembled before. That meant it was a return. I have 2 other's that I have put up for a different devise, and they had been acting up. I figured there was a tower problem. I was installing this one on the pole when a cable from the other 2 just up and fell out and to the ground. I looked and it was a bad solider problem. It was like that new! This one I find out also has a problem. I opened the first one and made my own repairs. It's working great now! I'm going to open this last one as well and repair it too! Returning it only creates me more problems because it takes time to get one back! Bottom line is this, they are coming in from China BAD! I should have gotten a discount of 50% for these 2. Good luck with yours.UPDATE; After opening this last one and finding it to be different than the other two, I would not recommend buying it to anyone. I don't know of a way to solider copper to aluminum. This thing has two funnel shape cups that are aluminum and the cable wire that has solider on the tip! I did how ever figure a way to make it pull for a little while to work, and it works great for now pulling in 3-Bars of signal.UPDATE; I have switched the antennas from Cell phone and WIFI TV with each other. The phones is working wonderful, and the TV WIFI is much better. Most of the time the Internet has 3 Bars, and will at times jump to 4-Bars. Being in a Country area where there is nothing but Satellite, I have to say that I found a winner that will not drop out at the first sign of a rain storm. I still have not inspected the third antenna as of yet. I'm very happy with this set up.I have an update for this antenna. It's still the best for the money, and I just might end up buying another one! If it flaw's, I already know how to improve it. When the really bad storms hit, the lighting strikes did it's damage to everything digital, but not this antenna. It's still going strong for me. Just thought I'd let you know.

My ADSB receiver now picks up aircraft over 200nm away with this antenna, so great, I bought a second for my other receiving station.

I bought this just to be able to have an external antenna so I could move my LTE modem away from the window. I didn't get this for any kind of improvement in signal strength outside of that. However, I noticed that I do get an improved signal overall based on how I hook it up.I have this connected to a Teltonika RUTX11. When I hooked this up with the splitter to both the main and aux antenna slot, the signal was exactly the same. I didn't really care since, again, I wasn't looking for an improvement in signal. Then I thought about it and removed the splitter only hooking this up directly into the main antenna connection. I noticed a slight jump in speed. I then hooked up the old antenna to the aux, and that is what made the signal boost show significant improvement in both strength and download/upload speed. With this particular modem, you do need to make sure the aux antenna is connected as it uses both much of the time. I disconnected that antenna from the aux connection and used another one just to make sure it wasn't that antenna in particular that was causing the improvement. I saw the same results; with just this outdoor antenna plugged into the main slot, it was basically the same signal strength, but with another antenna of a different kind plugged into the aux as well, the overall improvement was very noticeable.So, I'll be buying 3 more of these (one more for the aux connection, and two more for the other LTE modem I use).Update March 2021I purchased a second antenna for the RutX11 modem I mentioned above and... wow. Where I call my home base, we're far away from everything... the nearest Walmart is in the next state, nearest hospital in the next county, etc.I To get an idea of how remote it is, Verizon doesn't even offer a data signal here. A usual signal is one to two bars, average speeds around 15 mbps download speeds and 2 or 3 mbps upload speeds. Not terrible for where I am. On a good day, it might jump to around 25 mbps, but that's not the case all the time. With these two antennas hooked up, I'm getting a steady 3 bars, sometimes 4. My download speeds stay at a minimum of 35 mbps, but on average, seems to stay above 40 mbps now and over 5 mbps upload speeds. This makes working a "normal" remote job possible without any lag (even using VMWare). I'm glad I didn't have to pay several hundreds of dollars for the more expensive systems as this is all I'll need.Like any other system or antenna, this won't give you a signal where there is none. It will, however, stabilize a weak signal and turn it into a very steady signal. The original reason for getting an external antenna was to be able to take my modem out of the window (as the sun's heat or winter's cold can damage them, not to mention condensation on the window that could build up on or in the modem and cause damage). While the splitter is nice, I'm having amazing results with this low-priced antenna not using the splitter and am, instead, just using two antenna on my modem. I have two modems, so I'm going to buy two more for that one as well and see what happens. VERY happy with this antenna!
