I found a YouTube video on how to remove the door handle. Taking the cover off the handle to rewire the button was a hassle, just take your time with it and be gentle. Also had to use a very very small hex screwdriver for one tiny screw in the handle to get the cover off. If you’re handy and have all the tools and can rewire things and want to put in the effort then this works perfect. Otherwise just get a whole new handle. But I swapped out the button and everything works fine now. This is exactly what I needed.
