I have a 2016 Sonata hybrid. Someone tried to open the car and destroyed the key lock. Fortunately it was a very easy replacement process (less than 30 minutes) and what would have cost 100's at the dealer or locksmith was about $20. Only drawback are the replacement keys do not fit neatly into the fob but it is a minor point.

Not your fault but you have been lied to by Hyundai because the lock that really fits my Hyundai Sonata your app said it would not fit but the one that doesn’t fit your app said that it would fit and thus I got the wrong lock and had to send it back and the one I bought from the dealer is that same one that was not supposed to fit.
