These are durable, laminated cutouts that have a very small white border (that is meticulously trimmed) around the entirety of the cutout. They are well sized, somewhat bigger than others I have found on Amazon, making them well suited for multiple decorative uses for the Derby. The cutouts show horses outstretched in full run action with the jockeys colorfully dressed making them more appealing. This set is well done with 17 different cutouts with all but, one having a number assigned. One caveat, some of the horses are assigned the same number, so if each guest at your Derby party was to select their "horse" you may have to change some of the preprinted numbers to suit your party needs.This set is versatile in it's decorating use including small diameter wooden sticks, (adhesive pads to affix them to the horses), ribbon to string the horse cutouts to make a banner or using them to affix to a wall, honeycombs or arch covers. These are durable, well made and compliment my other Derby decorations.
