About this item

  • Full carbon fiber t700&t800 40mm depth 25mm width clincher tubeless ready wheels
  • The 18.35mm internal width carbon fiber rims--AERO 40 Disc/AERO 50 Disc/AERO 55 Disc are better suited for riders focused on speed and aerodynamic performance, offering a lightweight design and lower rolling resistance, especially ideal for high-speed cruising and precise handling.
  • On the other hand, AERO Plus Disc: 40mm/50mm/40/50mm-- the 23mm internal width rims prioritize comfort and stability, accommodating wider tires for improved grip, control, and enhanced comfort and durability on varied terrains and long-distance rides. The choice between these widths depends on whether you prioritize speed and performance or a more versatile all-terrain experience.
  • Sapim CX-Ray spokes combine excellent aerodynamics with light weight and high strength, and Sapim Secure Lock nipples offer the best performance in maintaining spoke tension
  • Both Series are 2-Way Clincher Tubeless: Use of either traditional tubed tires or tubeless tubeless tires; Tubeless tires can offer lower rolling resistance and better protection against punctures.

Never had a set of carbon wheels before, do compared to my shallow aluminum Mavic Ksyrium Pro wheelset these are much more faster and lighter and stiff. You can feel how they just wanna get moving once you start pounding watts on the pedals, they're very well built. They came with the tubeless tape and valves, set them up tubeless immediately. My Continental GP5000 S TR tires went in just fine, they were just a little tight to fit but that could also be because I mounted a brand new set so they weren't broken in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good lightweight and stiff carbon wheelset without selling an arm or a leg for it

Like many, I was looking to upgrade to carbon wheels without braking the bank. 800+ miles later and I’m just as happy as the first day. These wheels were noticeably lighter than my stock set and changed the way my bike rides. Please be aware, getting tires on these wheels is a huge pain. I spent hours attempting to get them on before taking it to a bike shop, where they also struggled quite a bit.Overall, it’s a good bang for your buck. Im happy with the wheels and don’t see myself replacing them anytime soon.

I ordered this carbon wheel set after a lot of online research. These are an excellent value. They are lightweight and well made. I’ve only ridden on them two times so I can’t speak to durability just yet but I do like the feel and handling. The only concern I’ve had is with the rim tape provided. I’ve gone tubeless and have discovered that you need to wrap the tape twice around the rim. Otherwise, it will fail when the tire is fully inflated.

Something to consider, the hidden cost of the wheels will be revealed if you have to return them for repairs to Shenzhen City, China. Today, June 26, 2024, I just got a shipping quote from DHL for $723 for my ICAN Alpha rear wheel, a wheel that lasted me 6 months despite being repaired three times locally. My confidence is shaken even for the ICAN Aero wheels now... I have to treat them as a disposable set.The wheels came well packaged, like someone cared very much about the presentation and making a great impression. As the picture shows, the bike looks even more exceptional now. The wheels feel and look great. The hub sounds loud without being obnoxiously noticeable. They're light enough, feel responsive, and arrived true. Even the local bike shop guy seemed quite impressed as he tested the wheels and mounted tires for me. Since I am not planning to run my bike tubeless, I did have to buy rim tape.As for the tires being hard to mount, I watched some YouTube technique videos. The second set was much easier. It was a set of foldable Continental Gatorskin, 32mm tires. The amount paid for bike wheels HAS NO IMPACT on mounting. Some tires mount easier than others. My much cheaper Vuelta wheels only required about 6 minutes to mount tires and inner tubes. On October 4, 2023 I went for my first ride on the Specialized Allez Sprint. The rear hub isn't quiet, and not as loud as my Elite wheels. The ICAN felt exceptionally smooth rolling forward. The stiffness is unquestionable. I leaned into the wheels purposefully to determine if the rotors would rub or if the very tight front tire would rub. My tires are the max allowed by the Allez. Despite the small clearance, I saw no evidence of rubbing on the fork. I am built like a NFL cornerback at 6 feet tall, with very dense muscles, not a light weight. The wheels supported me well. The ride felt faster, effortless, and was confirmed by the time I completed the 18 miles' ride. My average speed increased by nearly 2 miles per hour, even though I was very tired, due to a brutal and fast group ride the day before. Now I wish all my bikes had ICAN wheels.

So I bought these wheels around January and quickly installed them on the bike even though I was unable to ride as a result of shoulder surgery. The first thing I noticed was how cool they were. They were so much lighter than the stock wheels. When I was finally able to ride in late March, I noticed an intermittent clunk when putting load on the pedals. It was getting worse so I inspected and re-torqued everything and couldn’t figure it out. After some investigating, I noticed that the rear hub was at times failing to engage. I decided to email ICAN to see what I could do about it. They were amazing. I was in communication with a representative. She was so helpful and just plain nice. After she consulted one of their top techs, they sent me a brand new hub so that I could exchange the hub body. That solved the issue and I’m now enjoying a beautiful set of wheels that took chunk of weight of my bike and they roll beautifully. I highly recommend ICAN.

Did a 45 mile ride - first impression was great - these wheels are light. Roll true, the hub is quiet and the engagement is precise. I set mine up using Stan’s 21mm tubeless tape and Stan’s NoTubes Sealant. For the presta valves I used Muc-Off’s 80mm tubeless valves. Tires are Specialized S-Works Turbo S 700x28mm (these mounted fairly easily and the bead seated on the first try). Set these up with Shimano 105 cassette and Shimano 160mm center lock rotors. Overall I am very impressed - the bike is a different bike with this wheel set. For the price point I would definitely recommend. I now have the best of both worlds - my original PX-2 wheelset for gravel and these iCANS for road. Great setup for my Giant Advanced Revolt.

This is my first carbon wheelset and so far so good, they're so light, fast, stiff and I can feel the difference compared to the stock wheelset that came with my bike. They look awesome, I was in a hurry to buy it then found out that you can ask the vendor to send you a set without sticker. I prefer something that don't have name on it, but that didn't stop me in getting it. My friend that has a high end road bike tested it as wheel and he said there's no difference on what he have.I will recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade their wheels. Worth it!
