The rubber part is well-made in general and as I wear a size 9 in women's in a size 9 in boots it fits snug enough to stay on even without the strap and it was easy to get on. HOWEVER: On the bottom of the shoe instead of the entire heel being covered with cleats it's this tiny little square and the square was not centered properly on 1 foot. you couldn't really notice this to look at it quickly, however when you put it on it feels like the just few spikes on the heel are too far forward almost to the arch and they are slightly off-center so it makes you wanna fall over, very unstable especially for older people I would think. These unfortunately have to go back. They were unusable. These should have a full complement of spikes in the ball of the foot AND the heel.I don't think people wouldn't mind paying another dollar or two to make an otherwise good product perfect!

Bought cleats one size larger than shoe size and they were a good fit. Great for walking on ice, made me feel safer.

These only had one 5 star review when I purchased them. I took a chance and I am so glad I did! These Clampers are amazing! I haven't slipped one time on the ice while walking the dogs!! I like that the design combines rubber and metal and the metal is not merely straight spikes scattered but triangle point in groups of 4! This difference was why I chose them! It adds a stability that I've heard the others don't have! We still have to be careful to not mar our floors but it is well worth our safety to keep them on for the rest of the winter! If you have boots with thermal inserts like my Baffin Snow Boots, then you'll probably need the next size up of the Clampers as I did. My size 10 Baffin Cloe's needed the XL size! But if you're putting them on everyday boots instead of Snow Boots, then you can go with their size chart!

I haven’t had the chance to try these cleats in icy weather yet, but they seem really well-made. The 28 studs look like they’ll provide great traction, and they fit perfectly over my boots. They’re easy to slip on and feel secure, so I’m confident they’ll hold up well once winter hits!

These are lightweight and easily wearable. I can't speak to their durability but they are straightforward to put on and take off. they stay on when walking around on my lawn. Not snow season, but now I can look forward to it.
