Such a hassle to get the frozen pieces out. It's a good concept but not having to wrestle it or use hot water to melt and loosen it defeats the purpose.

It’s ok, the ice is very hard to remove, must use container that comes with ice tray or good luck transferring the ice tray to the freezer, also the ice didn’t seem to make much sense, once the bottom ice melts and your left with the middle and top ice and you’re drink is less then the middle, then you’re drink is no longer in ice..

I have a 40 oz cup I wanted to try these ice molds for. The box and lid it comes with is very solid and makes it easy to keep the silicone flat while placing in the freezer, especially with the lid on. I have used it a few times now, it's a bit annoying to remove the ice but it's not impossible. I start by pulling off the outside edge (it turns inside out) then you have to get the middle portion out. The worst part is mainly that your hands are super cold while doing it..They work pretty well, don't overfill or they won't stack well in your cup. So great to have the ice out of the way of the straw! I recommend giving this one a try!

The ice container is very sturdy. The lid fits perfectly. The insert pulls out easily and is also strong. I cant wait to make ice in it.

This really depends on what you want. This ice mold is nice. The silicone seems thick enough, and the plastic tray is a huge win. The mold on this one makes the ice thinner than some other molds I've tried. This means it freezes a little faster and is less likely to "bulge" when it's frozen. It also means it will melt faster, or crack into pieces when you add water. This mold also comes with a rectangular tray. The tray is a big win for me. It means that I can put it on any level surface, or even put things on top of it. I don't know about you, but I don't always have an open flat space to put my ice mold...right? So having this is a big draw on this mold. It has it's downside too. Trying to hold this mold and fill it with water outside of the tray is more difficult. It sags in the middle while you try to fill the ends. The large mold does fit a 40oz tumbler, the small mold does go into the bottom. The middle size is just weird.

I really like it, I'm still learning the best way to get the ice out. But it's really neat. When it's time to refill the tray, i recommend leaving it in the freezer and using a cup or something to refill it. Because it's flexible so your gonna spill water everywhere if you try filling it from the sink then carrying to the freezer. It looks like a quality product, and it's pretty easy to use.
