Great discs for the price and I like the feel of the plastic. The Sparta and Midari both immediately found a spot in my bag. HOWEVER, I am surprised the Legenda (13 speed Overstable distance driver recommended for Advanced players) is included in the set. After several outings, I'm still unable to get any distance with the Legenda, so I'm still sticking with the Infinite Maya (great disc!) when I need a long drive. BTW, I'm not a newbie, but an old fart that's been playing casually for over 20 years). So, I wish the Prodiscus' Flipperi had been included in this introductory set.

Initial opinion was discs were of rather poor quality. Plastic feels and looks cheap and sharp flashing from manufacturing process on rim of all discs. A little fine grit sandpaper helps to alleviate that issue. After throwing a few rounds I'm more impressed than my initial opinion. Discs throw well. Driver (Legenda) is rather stable and throws good distance. The "premium" plastic of driver shows no damage from tree strikes and seems durable. Personally I feel that a speed 13 driver is way too much disc for a beginner set. However, numbers aren't the whole story, and the Legenda is capable of decent distance from weaker throws you will not be throwing 400+ your first round, but you can grow into this disc as your game progresses. I am also of the opinion that higher speed discs can help teach you a lot about your weaknesses in form and technique, so can be a great teaching aid to help improve distance/control in all ranges. The midrange (Midari) throws straight and glides well. Plastic shows slight damage from tree and basket strikes, but too be expected from base plastic blends. I can see this disc permanently bagged as it is effective, predictable, and capable of considerable distance to fill the mid/fairway driver slot. Putter (Sparta) keeps whatever angle you throw (with enough force/spin) and is a good approach/putt disc. Plastic not very durable, but an effective disc for it's intended purpose. Certainly a decent price for a beginner set to get you into the sport. All you need to play a decent round and get you hooked.
