Bought this laser thermometer to check the temperature of my old military weapons during competition. After 14 shots in my Swedish Mauser this unit said the barrel was 104 degrees, no way in hell is a barrel that is hot to the touch is only 104. I think that must be as hot as it can register as it seems to work pretty good at lower temps

I love the size of this thermometer and the fact that I can attach it to my keychain for ease of use at work. The accuracy is spot on! and it makes doing my job so much easier than having to carry around a handheld digital thermometer which I was prone to drop and then that one would end up breaking. LIFE SAVER!

It only shows a range of temperatures from 138-140 F for me . It appears to be completely inaccurate . Literally tried to measure the temperate on 10 things , from frozen peas , a fridge , hot pan , to a human and the gauge does not change .

This thermometer is inexpensive, tiny and I carry it with me on my keychain at all times. Keep in mind the spot has a 1:1 ratio so it's only really usable very close, so if you were expecting something like a Raytek/Fluke for automotive purposes, look elsewhere. For everyday purposes, it's a very useful little tool. It's also very accurate, unlike most inexpensive non-contact thermometers.

Great little device. Compact small, it’s been good for a quick check on the engine temperature on my boat. I had the first one for eight years and finally it Packed it in. Also handy if you’re not feeling well and you need to take your temperature.
