I spent a good bit of time looking for a usable Die Stock, and this one is the best of the bunch. It has these advantages:-It is ONE PIECE which avoids the nuisance of handles coming unscrewed in use.-It feels like solid STEEL, not pot metal, and will take the torque you need to apply-It allows the die to be placed in either direction-It has a FLAT BACK so you can apply pressure while keeping the cutter square to the shaft you are threading.

Excellent finish, the fit with a die or tap holder is a little loose but otherwise its nice

This is awesome, no tools need for for die replacement. It even able to do tap handle too. I don't have the tap . I love it.
