Your cart is empty.This 14 inches Gyuto Chef's Knife features a double-edge blade and an ergonomic octagon handle which is good for both the right-handed and the left-handed. The blade is made of newly developed ZA18 stainless steel (HRC 63) which makes the knife exceptionally sharp, rust-resistant, and durable. The ergonomic handle of this knife is made from walnut. The bolster is strengthened by plywood and prevents water from entering the handle. The knife is handcrafted in Sakai, Japan by a knife manufacturer with more than 600 years of history. Knives made in Sakai are called “Sakai Uchi Hamono” and registered as a Japanese traditional craft since 1982 for the quality and exceptional craftsmanship. More than 90% of professional knives are produced in Sakai. The knife is not dishwasher-safe.
