I have small, arthritic hands and this tool works great for unscrewing jar and bottle lids. Really lets you get a good grip on whatever you're trying to open. Ordering another one for my mom.

I can’t grasp the handles if opening a wider jar, only a soda bottle. Doesn’t grip to lids well.

Large and cumbersome even for a jar of baby food. Takes two hands. This may work well on a bottle top and a smaller lid but it does not work for a metalBaby food jar top

This jar opener has proven to be a reliable solution for opening stubborn jars. The stainless steel construction feels sturdy and durable, while the design provides excellent leverage that makes opening even tightly sealed jars much easier. The multi-size capability handles everything from small sauce bottles to large pickle jars.What I particularly appreciate is how it reduces the strain on hands and wrists. The tool does most of the work, requiring minimal grip strength to operate. The handle is comfortable to hold and provides good leverage without requiring much force. It's especially helpful for those with arthritis or limited hand strength.The opener grips lids securely without damaging them, which is important for resealing jars you want to store. While it takes a little practice to position it correctly on different sized lids, once you get the hang of it, it works consistently well.
