Gets stuck halfway through opening, then reverses direction and crushes the lid into the food. Now my soup has metal shavings in it.

I needed a way to open jars without re-aggravating a wrist injury. The Robotwist is the perfect solution! You don't need to avoid an injury to enjoy this product. You will remove the lid on the first attempt rather than employ several strategies to remove a stubborn lid. This is an effortless way to open jars and save time!I have had to adjust the device so the arms grip just right on the jar and lid. I will likely be better at lining the device up to the container the more I use it.

I buy pickled asparagus at Costco that is impossible to open. A neighbor gentleman opens them for me and he has a hard time. This little machine popped that lid right off! Love it!❤️

This does the job!! I will never have to struggle to open a jar again! I have developed arthritis in my thumbs so gripping lids is difficult. I have used all types of items used to grip the lids but this opener is totally a game changer! A little bulky but that makes it easy to find when I need it.
