I found this mallet too hard and it’s not working for my gong. The sound is awful and it’s not useful. Wish I could return it. Not worth the money..

It’s a good mallet. I’m comparing to the one I got with my gong which is much softer and allows me to hit the gong harder but with more dynamic. This gong is hard and can be jarring with a large gong.
